Sotomayor And The Republican Rubber Stamp

Obama's pick for the Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor, isn't so much a judge as she is a political activist.
She doesn't belong on the Supreme Court.

She believes the rich life experience of a Latina Woman makes her a better judge than a white man.
She said as much. You can look it up.

Moreover, the Supreme Court she is about to join will this summer reverse her decision in the Ricci case.
In this case, too many white males passed a firefighters test, and too many minorities didn't, so the city of New Haven threw out the results. Mr Ricci, a white male who passed the test, sued. Ms Sotomayor summarily tossed his claim out.

Republicans have indicated they will not attempt to filibuster her appointment.

What a bunch of useless do-nothings the Republicans have become!

They refuse to fight against the very philosophies they so often decry.

At this point, the question being begged is: do we really need the Republican Party any longer? What purpose are they serving?
