From The Bottom Up

Republican leadership has failed the party itself.
And this failure is utter in its completeness.
Require evidence?
We now have a socialist, statist, economic fascist president.

Let's not mince words, Barack Obama is a socialist, statist, economic fascist.

Failure to recognize this fact disqualifies you as a thinking human bean.

Barack Obama doesn't believe in the free market.
Claiming you believe in the free market, and even singing its praises is not ample evidence that you truly believe in the free market.
Your actions betray your true, core beliefs.
And Barack Obama's actions have been thus far an effort to thwart the free market.

It's that simple.

Barack Obama believes the free market can be manipulated for Good by central planners like himself.
It CANNOT!
Again, it's that simple.
If you think free market can be manipulated for Good by central planners, then you know nothing about the free market, and probably less about economics in general.
I can only hope that you don't actually vote in elections. You deserve to live under a fascist economic regime, but I don't.

So, how did we end up with this socialist, central planner running the country(into the ground)?

For the answer, you need only ask yourself a simple question: When was the last time you heard an elected Republican official defending the free market?
And, no, poo-pooing pork and earmarks is not a defense of the free market, by any means or stretch of the imagination.
A defense of the free market requires more than an opposition to wasteful spending of taxpayer money.
It requires an explanation of how free markets generate wealth and increase our standard of living.
It requires saying NO most of the time to costly legislation.
It requires saying that it is, the vast majority of time, better for the government to do absolutely nothing at all, because if it does anything it will more than likely have a detrimental effect economically.
If you know of any Republican who has defended the free market, then let know. He or she will have my full faith and credit.

But because Republicans spent like drunk, liberal sailors, and "abandoned their free market principles", we are left with Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid making the rules, running our show, deciding what does and does not get bought and sold.
We are left with unprincipled snakes like Arlen Specter, Olympia Snowe, and Susan Collins, Republicans all, voting Yea for The Next Great Depression.
And that, my friends, is a putrid state of affairs.

So, how do we right this ship?
There is only one answer: it must done from the bottom up. It is a movement that must be reanimated at the grass roots level.
It must be done by those who vote.
It must be done by us!

We must hold all Republicans accountable.
Accountable for their every vote.

We must accept no excuses, no twisted rationalizations.
We must not be afraid to lose a useless Republican seat.

There can be no more George W Bushes chucking his free market principles.
There can be no more John McCains reaching across the aisle, and promising to "buy all those bad mortgages."
No more Specters, Snowes, or Collinses.

We know where it gets us.
We are there now.
And we want out.

We will lead ourselves.
And from now on it will be up to the politicians to follow us.
